Writing Tips

Imagine getting ideas out of your head, capturing and connecting them, and making sense of them so you can communicate with confidence.

I know many people find writing overwhelming or unnecessary.

  • "But I don't like to write."
  • "I'm not a writer."
  • "I don't care about writing."

But here's the thing— For 30+ years, I've watched writing bring ideas and goals into focus, support positive mental health, grow businesses & people... even save lives.

Write to Grow

Imagine turning messy into meaningful.

Clear ideas lead to results.

I use creativity, strategy, and analog + digital tools to turn messy into meaningful.

Slow down

Writing forces us to slow down, think, and focus— things most people aren't doing these days.

Tip: Pause for 1 - 15 minutes. Turn off the tech. Breathe. Write without judgment.

Schedule time

Try it!

Develop your ideas.

Like to write but struggle to find time? Plan 5 - 15 minutes on your calendar a few times a week. Write without judgment.

Tip: Join me for a writing workshop, group, or retreat. Or, download this resource to help you develop a writing/journaling habit.

"Writing is stupid, boring, (fill in your own word)." I hear that a lot! I've taught 5000+ people how to write for personal and professional projects. Nearly every "non-writer" came away feeling more confident about writing.
